On December 27th 2013, the 1st Convention of Guiyang Conference and Exhibition Industry Association has been held in Guiyang International Conference&Exhibition Center.CCEES(short for China Convention/Exhibition/Event Society), Guizhou Bureau of Expo Affairs,and about 30 relative associations and enterprises send letters of congratulation.Election Method, Association Constitution, Membership Fees Management are deliberated and approved. 26 members are selected to form the 1st Council. DengShaoyun is selected as the Chairman. XuChengli is selected as the Senior Vice Chairman. Heying, LiuBaojun, ZhangZaiping, Liuyan, LuoChaoyang, ZhaoJialin, Licheng, Zhangjun, ZengShaohua, LiuJianchun, GongZhongwei are both selected as the Vice Chairman. DengFaming is selected as the Secretary-General. The council employs ChenZheyan, WangQingdao, LuoChaohua, LinDafei as the
consultants.
On the middle of 1990s, the expo industry in City of Guiyang starts its development. Subject to the poor local conditions,the exhibition halls and the evens are undeveloped into a whole system. With the continuous economic growth of Guiyang, Guiyang municipal committee, municipal government suggest that the development of the expo
industry should be the new growth point in 2008. Thus the completion of Guiyang International onference&Exhibition Center,and Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center provide the solid foundation to develop the expo industry.
After three years, the expo industry get the vigorous development. It show the quantity and rapid promotion while the exhibition enterprises rise up. At present there are nearly 100 expo enterprise. And this number is still rising. Under this trend, the link between the government and enterprises, the market order of fair competition, industry norms, all need a organization to accomplish. Expo industry association officially born under this background. The
establishment of the association marks that the city expo industry are embarked on a track of institutionalization and standardization. The Council under the Association Constitution, will do a good job in marketing with the information guide and exploring the related services. This association actively reflects the desire and calls of the expo enterprises which maintains the lawful rights and interests. At present, it is known that the association has 68 member units, 107 individual members.
